Following Lüleburgaz-Babaeski-Havza-Edirne, after customs and passport procedures at the Kapıkule border gate, cross into Bulgaria. After Svilengrad-Haskova and Povdiv, arrival in Sofia. The first settlement in Sofia is thought to have been founded around the 8th century BC by a Thracian tribe called the Serdi. Later incorporated into the Roman Empire, the region was known as Serdica because of this tribe. In 1376, due to the Aya Sofia Church here, it began to be referred to among the public as Sofia. Among the places to see in Sofia; one of the city's symbols and also one of the world's 2nd largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals is the Alexander Nevsky Church, the medieval church that has been destroyed over the ages and rebuilt many times St. Nedelya Church, the Church of St. George Rotunda Church, said to have been built on the ruins of Serdica, has the distinction of being the oldest structure in Sofia. The UNESCO-protected structure has a remarkable architectural form and breathtaking fresco decorations on its dome made at many different times. Known as one of Sofia's most elegant, typical Russian churches, the Church of St. Nicholas, the country's largest and oldest theater Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the Old Communist Party Building, Prime Ministry, Statue of Saint Sofia, Parliament, Sofia University, and the Military Club, where the famous ball attended by Atatürk in a Janissary outfit took place. In the square where the Parliament is located, we see Tsar Osvoboditel, erected in honor of Russian Emperor Alexander II, who won Bulgaria's freedom in the Russo-Turkish War; Banya Bashi Mosque (Kadı Seyfullah Efendi Mosque), the only mosque in the center of Sofia, and the old Royal Palace, now the National Culture Palace. After a short journey, we arrive in Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. Throughout its long history, it has provided great service to Islamic-Turkish culture. It is a city where life has continued for 4000 years. A place that combines excellent modern and ancient architecture. The most interesting oldest part of the city, called Old Plovdiv, is located on NÖBET TEPE. We will have the opportunity to see the traces left by the Byzantine, Greek and Ottoman states, the city's shopping centers, and the protected old town. Batenberg Street, the city's liveliest shopping and entertainment center, will be visited. Ancient amphitheatre from the old Roman era - the next place worth seeing. Djumaya mosque, an old structure that is quite interesting with Turkish architecture. We will also see the oldest churches of Plovdiv. Free time for shopping and to explore the city as you wish. We are departing for Turkey. Before entering the border gate, we stop for a shopping break at Mustafa Market. In the evening hours we arrive at the customs gate. First Bulgaria, then after passport and customs procedures at the Kapıkule Turkish border gate, we enter Turkey.
