In Ruse, we have a panoramic view of Levent Redoubt'. The Mirza Said Pasha Mosque and Freedom Monument are among the places we will visit. We will stroll around Ruse for approximately one and a half hours. Then we head to the city center of Veliko Tarnovo . Veliko Tarnovo is a city in northern Bulgaria. Mostly known as the "City of the Tsars," Veliko Tarnovo is located on the Yantra River and is known as the historic capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire (1185-1396), attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. The old part of the city is situated on three hills rising among the meanders of the Yantra: Tsarevets, Trapezitsa and Sveta Gora. Tsarevets contains the palaces of the Bulgarian emperors and the Patriarchate, as well as a series of administrative and residential buildings surrounded by thick walls, alongside the Patriarchal Cathedral. Trapezitsa is known for its many churches and as the former main residence of the nobility. In the Middle Ages, the city was among Europe's leading cultural centers. Veliko Tarnovo is located on a high terrace above the city. Here you can enjoy a natural view of the city and Tsarevets Castle. After our tour, we begin our return journey.
