DAY 1: İPSALA BORDER GATE-HALKIDIKI-THESSALONIKI

After meeting at the specified points, we enter Greece by completing customs and passport procedures at the İpsala (Turkish) - Kipi (Greek) border gates via Tekirdağ and Malkara. Following the Gümülcine, İskeçe and Kavala route, we reach the Halkidiki region, famous for its unique nature and turquoise sea.

In Halkidiki, during the free time we give, you will feel as if you are in one of the hidden paradises of the Aegean. You can swim to your heart's content in the crystal-clear deep blue sea, enjoy the cool waters, and experience your holiday by sunbathing on the golden sands. Along the seaside, you can enjoy the view with an ice-cold frappe in the stylish cafes lining the shore, take a walk by the sea, take beautiful photos, and experience local delicacies. After this unforgettable free time in this unique atmosphere, we meet at the designated time and depart for Thessaloniki. After arriving at our hotel in the city center, we settle into our rooms, rest off the day's fatigue in our comfortable hotel, and gather energy for the enjoyable Thessaloniki exploration we will carry out the next day. DAY 2:  THESSALONIKI - CHURCH OF AYA DIMITROS - ATATÜRK HOUSE and CONSULATE GENERAL - MACEDONIA & THRACE & BALKAN BUILDING - ARISTOTELES UNIVERSITY and SQUARE - HAMZA BEY MOSQUE - STATUE OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT - HAMIDIYE FOUNTAIN - WHITE TOWER - PROMENADE - ROTARY TOWER - FAIRGROUND - KAVALA - AQUEDUCTS - HARBOR - CASTLE - KAVALA MEHMET ALI PASHA IMARET - COOKIE SHOPPING - ÇORLU

  After breakfast, departure from the hotel,our city tour begins. Our first stop will be the Church of Aya Dimitros, one of the most important churches in Thessaloniki, located in the city center and giving its name to the street on which it stands. After this beautiful structure, we visit the House of Our Great Leader Atatürk(Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Thessaloniki), located on the same street as Aya Dimitros. While descending to the White Tower in the city, the Macedonia & Thrace & Balkan Building, Aristoteles University Campus, Hamza Bey Mosque, Statue of Alexander the Great, Hamidiye Fountain, Promenade, Rotary Tower, Fair Square are among the places we will see panoramically. In order to reach the White Tower, we go down to the Aristotle Square located in the center of the city. And with our guide's narration, we give free time on the promenade.You can walk on the promenade and taste Greece’s famous coffee, frappe, in the cafes. Our gathering and departure point is the White Tower. We cross over to Kavala. In central Kavala  our city tour begins; aqueducts, harbor, castle, 19th-century neoclassical buildings, old & new city, lighthouse, Kavala Mehmet Ali Pasha imaret, house & statue are seen and then we give free time at the harbor. Leaving Kavala, we see the aqueducts built by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in Kavala and stop by the Kavala Cookie Factory on our route. We give free time for cookie shopping. After we get our cookies, we give a visit and photo break to the the Church of the Virgin Mary on Portologos Lake built by the Ottoman Pasha Zığın Pasha. Afterwards we cross the Turkish border after the passport procedures at the İpsala border gate. Following Malkara and Tekirdağ, we arrive in Çorlu. We bid farewell by leaving our valued guests at the points where we picked you up, until we meet again on our next ÇORLU TRAVEL tour.

Need to Know

1. If there are compelling reasons, the tours specified in the programs may be held on a different day or days other than the specified day. Lunch and dinner services included in the program may be provided at restaurants determined by the agency when deemed necessary or due to changes in flight times. 
2. Panoramic city tours are 2-3 hour tours organized to introduce cities. City tours and extra tours may be arranged on different days, provided that the content does not change. Extra tour prices may vary depending on the content and number of participants. Panoramic tours, including the other tours specified in the program, if they do not take place on the day and time of the tour due to roads that are not allowed to be visited or entered by local authorities, or due to closed roads because of any event, or if weather conditions make it impossible to conduct the tour, ÇORLU TRAVEL is not responsible for the inability to carry out the mentioned tours. Some tours can be done by public transportation or on foot, if possible, in places with closed roads or where vehicle entry is not allowed.
3. Excursions specified as extra in the program may not be carried out if there is not enough participation. ÇORLU TRAVEL cannot be held responsible for tours not being carried out. Extra tours made along the route will be carried out even if all passengers do not participate. In extra tours to be made along the route, our guests who will not join the tour will be directed by our guide to rest areas located before entering the city. Passengers who do not want to participate in extra tours made along the route are deemed to have joined the tour by accepting to wait at the rest stop. Excursions or tours that are not allowed to be visited or traveled to by local authorities for any reason will not be carried out. ÇORLU TRAVEL cannot be held responsible for the inability to carry out these excursions or tours.
4. The personal belongings, bags and suitcases of the people participating in the tour are under their own responsibility, and ÇORLU TRAVEL is not responsible for forgotten, lost or stolen items. In cases where forgotten items are found, the costs incurred in delivering them to the country or person are the responsibility of the owner of the item. 
5. ÇORLU TRAVEL reserves the right to change hotel names, provided that the category remains the same. There is an extra bed application in 3-person rooms, and since extra beds consist of beds called foldable and coach bed, the tour participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the possible congestion in the rooms and the bed type in 3rd person and/or child reservations. The 3rd bed is smaller than a standard bed. The child prices stated in the price list are valid only if the child stays with two adults. Continental breakfast offered in hotels consists of butter, jam or honey, bread, tea or coffee, and fruit juice. Group breakfasts may be served in a separate hall. 
6. Participants are required to have their Travel Insurance with them during the trip.
7. During busy periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be farther than the specified km’ s. In such a case, information will be provided 15 days before the departure date of the tour.
8. If children under 18 who are not considered adults do not join the tour together with one or both of their mother or father, the consents required for participation in the tour must be carried with them during the trip.
9. Individuals are required to carry reports regarding their health issues, pregnancy status, and medications they use continuously during their participation in the tour.

Other Tour Information
- Our guests who participate must definitely have a valid Schengen visa throughout the tour period. (Green Passport holders are exempt from visa.)
- Visa service fee (additional service fees that may arise from the Consulates (shipping fee, form, consultancy, etc.) are not included in the price.)
- Exit tax for going abroad,  (It is recommended to pay to the relevant banks before the travel date and to keep the receipt with you during the trip.)
- In order to make purchases and expenses in all countries included in the program during the tour, it is sufficient to have Euro. In regions using local currency, the Guide will assist with currency exchange.
- During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sports shoes should be preferred. It would be useful to bring a cardigan etc. with you for the night.
- During the journey, waiting times at customs gates crossed by road may exceed the standards, and ÇORLU TRAVEL cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting times. 
- The Types of Vehicles Used in Our Tours are classified as follows according to the number of people. The vehicle types below are assigned according to the number of people in each tour.
