DAY 2: IHLARA VALLEY-AĞAÇALTI and SERPENT CHURCH-KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY-THREE GRACES-KOCABAĞ WINERY
We begin touring the Cappadocia region, formed by the erosion of the soft layers created by lava and ash ejected by the mountains in the region over millions of years by rain and wind.Cappadocia region. We head to the slopes of one of Central Anatolia's highest mountains, Mount Hasan . We panoramically see the Selime village and Selime Cathedral along our route. We arrive at the Ihlara Valley, one of the most important retreats in the Cappadocia region. In the Ihlara Valley, with 105 churches and the Melendiz River flowing through it, where nature and history intertwine and where people still live inside, giving one a special excitement, we visit the Ağaçaltı Church and the Serpent Church, and complete our tour here with information provided by our guide. We take a pleasant walk along the Melendiz River. We panoramically see the Derinkuyu Park Mosque, one of Turkey's most interesting and modern mosques, and the largest Atatürk statue in Turkey, located in the same place. We panoramically see the Üzümlü Church, one of the important Greek settlements in the region and also known to date back to the 19th century. (Closed to visitors) Then we head towards the Kaymaklı Underground City. Kaymaklı Underground City; this underground city, built as 7 levels below ground and 15% open to visitors, is entered through narrow corridors. We tour the churches, chapels, wineries, storage rooms, kitchens, and social living areas. Leaving this fascinating environment, we offer the opportunity to buy the delicious double-roasted pumpkin seeds grown in the region. Afterwards, we panoramically see the Three Graces Area's, where the finest examples of fairy chimneys with hats are found and where the panoramic view of the entire Cappadocia region can also be enjoyed. One of the gifts of volcanic terrain, we stop by Kocabağ Winery, one of Turkey's largest wine factories, made from the beautiful grapes of Cappadocia, and complete our wine shopping. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel. After dinner, with guests who wish (extra), in entertainment venues carved into caves unique to Cappadocia, we join an unforgettable musical Turkish Night.ACCOMMODATION CAPPADOCIA https://urgup.dinler.com/

In the area, which resembles an open-air museum, we successively see the highest point of the region, used for defense purposes in various periods and formed entirely by the carving of a naturally formed rock block, and the Uçhisar Castle, which emerged between the Hittite Period and the 9th century A.D., and take panoramic photos of it. We visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, which offers visitors an unforgettable experience by combining the historical and natural beauties of Cappadocia. We tour this open-air museum, consisting of monasteries, churches, chapels, dining halls, kitchens, and living areas carved into the rock. We continue our journey accompanied by the view of Cappadocia's beautiful valleys. We panoramically see the Fairy Chimneys found in the Paşa vineyards and Devrentler. These valleys bear witness to their unique beauty with our imagination. We set off to visit the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Complex. Our Recommendations:
Since we generally walk at the places visited, we recommend that you come prepared accordingly and dress with seasonal conditions in mind. (fleece/sweater, hat, sunglasses, raincoat, etc.) Choose layered clothing from thin to thick (you sweat as you walk, and may feel cold when you stop). Make sure your shoes are suitable for walking (soil, rock, mud, water, etc.). Boots or sneakers that cover the ankles would be good. Have a small backpack (your hands should be free while walking). აუცილებლად bring spare clothing, socks, and shoes. Bring your medications if you have any, enough film if you are taking photos/videos, and spare batteries; we remind you that you should keep these with you, and we are happy to host you on our tours.
Our Transportation Vehicles:
The Types of Vehicles Used in Our Tours are classified as follows according to the number of people. The vehicle types listed below are assigned according to the number of people on each tour. Our vehicles do not have headphones. In vehicles with TV units, charging your phone will reduce your phone's battery life, so we recommend bringing an external charger.
