With the first light of morning, we set off from Çorlu toward a unique route that blends the traces of the past with nature. Accompanied by refreshments on the bus, we enjoy a pleasant journey from Thrace to Anatolia. Our first stop is theIliad Epic of Homer, Ancient City of Troy. This land, which hosted the Trojan War and legendary heroes, dazzles with its thousands of years of history. We tour the ancient wall ruins, take photos in front of the famous Trojan Horse, and embark on a discovery intertwined with history among the remains of the Trojan civilization.
After leaving Troy, we turn our route toAssos’, one of the most special ancient cities of the Aegean. In this enchanting city founded in the 6th century BC, we witness an extraordinary view stretching from the Temple ofAthena’s on a high hill to Edremit Bay and the island of Lesbos. With our walk among the ruins such as the ancient theater, agora, and necropolis area, we follow the traces of antiquity step by step in this city where one of the great names of philosophy, Aristotle, once lived.
Then we head toBehramkale Village’s nearby, famous for its stone architecture and narrow streets. In this authentic village where time seems to have almost stopped, we take a short walk, enjoy a tea break at the stone café, and make the most of some free time at local product stalls. Here, our guests who wish can also buy souvenirs such as organic olive oils, jams, and handmade jewelry.
After Behramkale, our route heads to the heart of nature, the hidden paradise at the foothills of Mount Ida, Adatepe Village . In this region, known in mythological accounts as the place where Zeus watched the Trojan War, we are welcomed by a village adorned with stone houses among lush green olive groves, preserving its historical texture. Here we visit theOlive Oil Museum, where we see the historical development of olive cultivation and learn about products made with traditional methods. During our free time in the village square, you can relax at the stone cafés, walk through the narrow streets, and photography enthusiasts can capture wonderful shots.
As the final stop of the day, we head toÇanakkale city center. We take a photo break in front of the famous Trojan Horse replica used in the film Troy, and enjoy a walk along the promenade with the sea air. Then we have a short shopping stop atAynalı Çarşı’s, where we get the chance to browse local souvenirs. After this rich program filled with history, nature, and culture throughout the day, we begin our return journey to Çorlu in the evening. As we reflect on the day on the way back, the traces of this unique route full of experiences remain etched in our memories. We say goodbye until the nextÇorlu Travel trip, hoping to see you again.
