DAY 1: ÇORLU-KASTAMONU
It starts with departure at 22:00 at night from behind the old girls' vocational school. We continue toward Kastamonu, following Istanbul, Bolu and Gerede.
DAY 2: KASTAMONU-GOVERNOR'S MANSION-SHERIFE BACI MONUMENT-CLOCK TOWER-KASTAMONU CASTLE-ATATÜRK MONUMENT-NASRULLAH QADI MOSQUE, FOUNTAIN and SQUARE-SİNOP- DIOGENES STATUE-HISTORIC SİNOP PRISON-SAMSUN-GAZİ MUSEUM-CITY MUSEUM-ATATÜRK MONUMENT-SAMSUN
We arrive in Kastamonu, described as having its castle, tower and stream on both sides of the Karaçomak stream, where our stories of heroism take place, and we begin to discover the beauties of Kastamonu. Kastamonu in the center, we see the Clock Tower and the Kastamonu Castle panoramically. Then we see the Governor's Mansion, the first example of Neoclassical architecture, built by Vedat Tek. We also see the Şerife Bacı Monument, a symbol of sacrifice and courage shown during the War of Independence, located in the Government Square, and the Atatürk Monument, made in memory of the Hat Revolution. After seeing the monuments, we walk toward Nasrullah Square. After completing our visit to the Nasrullah Qadi Mosque and Fountain, where Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the writer of our National Anthem, once delivered a sermon during the War of Independence, we leave Kastamonu after a break at the famous Saray helvacısı and the Münire Medresesi Handicrafts Bazaar. Taşköprü and Hanönü we reach Sinop, the northernmost province of our country, a pristine Black Sea coastal city named after the beautiful water nymph Sinope. We take a photo in front of the famous Diogenes statue, with a lantern in his hand as if welcoming us, and then we visit the historic prison that has been the subject of TV series, folk songs and novels.Sabahattin Ali's poem "Don't Mind, My Heart" touches us deeply as we tour the prison's dungeons and wards.prison. DAY 3: SAMSUN-BOZTEPE-HAZELNUT-GİRESUN-GÖRELE KEMENÇE MUSEUM-AKÇAABAT-AYASOFYA MUSEUM-ATATÜRK MANSION-TRABZON
After breakfast at the hotel, we pass through the Nefise AKÇELİK tunnel, one of the longest tunnels in use in our country (3820 m), and with the information we receive from our guide, we find the opportunity (EXTRA) to go up by cable car to Boztepe, at an altitude of about 515 meters, the symbol of the city of Ordu. We enjoy the magnificent view of the Black Sea coast and the plateaus visible in the distance, and take a short tea break. Boztepe, and guests who do not want to go up are given free time in the cable car park. After the pleasant time we spend, before leaving Ordu, we stop at the center at the hazelnut factory. In the region, we take a shopping break at the point where we can buy the hazelnut, which constitutes an important part of the livelihood, is regarded as the highest quality hazelnut in the world, and is referred to in ancient sources as the "Kerasus Fruit that kept armies standing".Giresun We move toward it. We go to the largest silver workshop in the region to learn the subtleties of Kazaziye art, which is described as the most valuable art brought to the region by the Kazaz Turks and made in our country only in Trabzon by three families, with its silver, filigree, Trabzon woven bracelet and craftsmanship that inspires admiration for women. After our shopping break, as we head to Soğuksu Area, we see the Gülbahar Hatun Mosque, Inner Castle and Zağnos Valley (panoramic) and, passing through the spruce trees, we see the Atatürk Mansion, which belonged to a Greek businessman and was later presented to Atatürk by the people of Trabzon. After breakfast at the hotel, in the company of the magnificent nature that fascinates us with the unique vegetation of the Black Sea, while progressing on new roads, we reach theCoşandere's life-giving Altındere National Park. Then we visit the world-famous Sümela Monastery, located at the steepest point on the slopes of Mount Karadağ, at an altitude of 1,650 m, which will surprise us with both its history and its nature. (The area under restoration may change according to the current situation.) We take a photo break.We reach Sürmene, Trabzon's famous district. When Sürmene is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the specially made Sürmene knife, which has world fame, makes tasks in our kitchens much easier and includes collectible pieces. At a point where we can buy the Sürmene knife, we learn its features and also have the opportunity to shop. Among the 50 ecosystems, we arrive at the Kaçkar Mountains, famous for trout raised in its icy waters, hosting rafting festivals in recent years, and whose mountains and hills are covered with tea gardens, the Fırtına Valley. Our last stop on this journey, where we see the oldest mansions of our country, is the visit to the Zil Castle, built at one of the points most dominant over the valley to protect the historic trade route. DAY 5: AYDER PLATEAU-BORÇKA KARAGÖL-SARP-GONIO VILLAGE and CASTLE-ÇORUH RIVER and BRIDGE-BATUM CENTRAL MOSQUE-EUROPE SQUARE-MEDEA MONUMENT-POSEIDON SQUARE-HOPA
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave the hotel and set out. We go to explore the Borçka-Karagöl, one of our country's hidden corners of paradise. (Extra) We will cross the Cankurtaran pass and reach Borçka. With the minibuses waiting for us, 27 km from Borçka district center, at an altitude of 1,450 m above sea level, in the early 19th century, as a result of a landslide on a hill near today's Klaskur (Aralık) Village, when the Klaskur (Aralık) Stream blocked its front, creating a paradise-green place that fascinates its visitors with the untouched beauty of the Black Sea, where the opening credits of the recently televised series “Don’t Be Sad for Me” were filmed, we travel through lush green trees stretching along the road as if creating a tunnel, accompanied by giant spruce trees and small waterfalls, and reach Karagöl. We take walks in Karagöl, a natural wonder with its forest cover and enchanting colors. We then cross the new bridge next to the old Gonio Bridge over the Çoruh River, which originates from our country. DAY 6: HOPA-RIZE FABRIC WEAVING WORKSHOP-OF-SOLAKLI STREAM and VALLEY-ÇAYKARA-UZUNGÖL-TEA FACTORY-FATSA
After breakfast at the hotel, we stop at a point where we will learn and shop for the weaving of "feretiko" (Rize cloth), revived to help the economic development of young girls in Rize and its villages. Following the Derepazarı and İyidere route, we reach Of. Then, following the Solaklı Valley, passing through Dernekpazarı, Çaykara, Taşkıran, we reach the heart of the Black Sea Region's most important tourism centers, at 1090 m. above sea level, adored by Arab tourists and referred to as paradise, and which has adorned the calendar pages in our homes for years, within the Haldizen Mountains after alluvial accumulation, we arrive at Solaklı Stream, which formed Uzungöl. We reach Uzungöl. The lush green trees stretching along the Solaklı valley on both sides of the road, and the houses built on the slopes of the mountains, many of which do not even have roads, we see through the suspension bridges. DAY 7: FATSA-SAMSUN-FIRST STEP MONUMENT-BANDIRMA STEAMER-AMASYA-FERHAT AND ŞİRİN WATER CHANNEL-AMASYA ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM-II.BAYEZİD COMPLEX-YEŞİLIRMAK-LOW BRIDGE-RIVERSIDE HOUSES-AMASYA CASTLE-ROCK TOMBS OF THE KINGS-GOVERNMENT BRIDGE-CLOCK TOWER-PRINCES' PARK-ÇORLU
After breakfast at the hotel, we head toward Samsun. We arrive in our city where our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk started the War of Independence on May 19, 1919. When we arrive in Samsun, we see the meaningful city where Atatürk stepped off the Bandırma Steamer with his 18 comrades on May 19, 1919 and read the first circular that launched the War of Independence, and we go to the First Step Monument and go to the Bandırma Steamer from which Atatürk arrived in Samsun. Then we arrive in Amasya, which was home to important events during the years of the National Struggle, built on both sides of the Yeşilırmak, and known as the city of princes during the Ottoman period. In this city, beautiful both day and night, we first say that it is not enough to know that Ferhat carved the mountains for Şirin in this beautiful city shaped by the Yeşilırmak, one of the back gardens of the Ottoman Empire, and to witness this love, we visit the Ferhat and Şirin Water Channel. We visit the Amasya Archaeology Museum, the largest mummy museum in the world. Here we see examples such as archaeological, ethnographic, coin, seal, manuscript, and mummies from the Ilkhanid period from the Bronze Age, Hittite, Urartian, Phrygian, Scythian, Persian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. We tour the mosque within the II. Bayezid Complex, built by Mimar Şemseddin Ahmet between 1482-1486 as a gift to Amasya, where Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II served as governor for 26 years, and after seeing the library and soup kitchen buildings, we take a short walk in the Princes' Park on the banks of the Yeşilırmak, then take a photo break on the still-used Lower Bridge, one of the surviving Roman-era structures, and photograph the Riverside houses, lined up like pearls along the Yeşilırmak, in the most beautiful spot. After photographing the Amasya Castle and the Rock Tombs of the Kingdom of Mithridates, which ruled the region in the Hellenistic Period and were carved into Mount Harşena and given the appearance of a temple, we see the Government Bridge and Clock Tower. Trip duration is 7 Nights and 6 Days, including the departure and return day, and includes 5 nights of hotel accommodation
Our package prices include hotel, transportation, and sightseeing tours. Child discounts applied in tour packages are valid for one child accompanied by two adults. For children aged 0-6, a bed may not be provided in hotel accommodation.
In 3-person rooms, an extra bed is provided; since the extra beds are foldable and coach beds, participants making reservations for a 3rd person and/or child are deemed to have accepted the possible cramped conditions in the rooms and the bed type. The 3rd bed is smaller than a standard bed.
Our tour is a package including guidance, transportation, accommodation, and sightseeing tours and cannot be considered separately. Unused transportation, accommodation, sightseeing tour, etc. rights are not refunded.
Accommodation areas and hotels may be changed to places of the same standard depending on density.
Our rest stops may be changed due to force majeure such as congestion, renovation, etc., provided that the location and service standards remain the same.
In the program schedule (the order of the places to visit during the day or between days), the Guide may make changes if deemed necessary due to reasons such as Weather, Road Conditions, etc.
Çorlu Travel is definitely not responsible for places that cannot be visited in our tour program due to force majeure (weather, road, congestion at places of visit, etc.) or because our guests do not comply with the timings given by our guide.
Extra tours such as night tours included in the tour program are carried out depending on the number of people and the conditions of the available staff. Extra tours made en route will be carried out even if not all passengers participate. For extra tours to be carried out en route, our guests who will not participate in the tour will be directed by our guide to rest areas or city centers located before entering the city. Passengers who do not want to participate in the extra tours made en route are deemed to have joined the tour by accepting to wait at the rest stop.
Additional Service Fees may be added on top of the Package (transportation and accommodation) price and installment payments may be made as a total package. Our guests with discounted status pay this fee at the discounted rate.
During reservation, no seat number promise or guarantee can be given. There is no guarantee for the transportation and hotel notes entered in the reservation.
On our long tours, there is a rotation of seats every day. Seats numbered 3 and 4 in the vehicles belong to the guide and assistant.
In our tours by plane, the airline contract applies in sections related to the flight. Cancellation insurance does not cover air transportation. A tiered pricing system is available in our tours. The advertised price is the price opened from the lowest class. (The term 'economy class' is used in tours by plane.)
If the required number of participants is not reached in our tour; the right to cancel is reserved by Çorlu Travel until 15 days before the tour departure date. In such a cancellation case, Çorlu Travel is obliged to inform its guests in person.
If children under the age of 18 who are not considered adults do not participate in the tour with one or both of their mother and father, the consent forms required for participation in the tour must be kept with them during the trip.
People must carry reports related to their health problems, pregnancy status, and medications they use regularly when participating in the tour.
The scope of the compulsory travel insurance no. 1618 covers the agency's bankruptcy or the inability to provide package tour services for any reason. It is not health insurance and does not cover treatment expenses. Private health insurance is a personal expense of the guest.
The Cancellation Assurance Package allows you to cancel your package tour, which you have purchased, up to 7 days before the start date, including force majeure. After cancellation, the full amount of the tour fee you paid, minus the assurance fee, will be refunded according to your payment method.
A tiered pricing system is applied to all our Cultural tour products. As the number of reservations in the package tour offered for sale increases (as the occupancy rate of the tour increases), prices rise gradually. In this case, price fixing cannot be done without receiving an advance payment.
If sufficient participation is not achieved, our guests may be able to join the tour by issuing tickets to the nearest departure point
The information regarding the times to be reached at the end of the tour is as written in the package program, and Çorlu Travel is not responsible for delays that may arise due to force majeure. Our guests will be dropped off at the points where they were picked up.
According to the Traffic Law, wearing a seat belt is mandatory throughout the entire travel period in the vehicle; otherwise, Çorlu Travel has no responsibility.
The responsibility for all personal belongings inside the vehicle belongs to the person at rest stops, etc.
Important Note:
Since the Sumela Monastery has been undergoing restoration and reinforcement work by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey since 2015, visits inside the monastery cannot be made. Depending on weather conditions, if there is no fog, we will only have the chance to photograph the monastery from the outside.
Information About Batumi:
Due to seasonal congestion at the Batumi border crossing, delays may occur during the crossing process; your guide will provide the necessary warnings in this regard.
When entering Turkey from abroad, the current quota application is taken as basis to bring goods (alcohol - cigarettes, etc.), and our guide will provide the necessary information on the vehicle.
Under the law brought by Georgia, it does not accept medicines at the country entrances. Our guide will also provide the necessary information on this in the vehicle.
Identity cards must not be worn out and must be renewed if they were obtained before 2010
Thanks to the passport exemption applied to Turkish citizens for the Batumi tour, crossings are made with Turkish ID cards. Crossings cannot be made with driver's licenses and other identity cards. Identity cards must not be worn out and must be renewed if they were obtained before 2010. Our guests under the age of 18 who will not be traveling with their mother and father are required to obtain a notarized consent form for crossing to Batumi. The presence of a photo on the ID cards of our infant and child guests has been made mandatory by the Georgian government.
Çorlu Travel is not responsible for problems that may arise at the Georgian border crossing due to deformation on identity cards. Georgia requires a photo on identity cards, including for infants and children. (A photo is mandatory.)
Foreign guests who entered Turkey from abroad with a passport must have obtained a multiple visa entry to Turkey in order to go to Georgia and return to Turkey. In addition, visa/visa-free passage will be provided according to Georgia's visa protocol with the countries to which the passports or identity cards belong. In line with KKTC citizens entering Turkey using their Turkish ID cards, they will be able to enter Georgia with their Turkish ID cards. KKTC citizens who enter Turkey with an EU passport must also obtain a multiple visa in order to return to Turkey
Museum card Information:
The Museum Card is a card given only to citizens of the Republic of Turkey by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is valid for one year in all museums and archaeological sites affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and provides free visits. The Museum Card is not included in the Tour price. (Special Administration and Municipal enterprises, etc.) the museum card is not valid. Our guests pay the entrance fees to the relevant museums themselves. Museum cards cannot be issued to guests who are not citizens of the Republic of Turkey. Museum entrance fees for foreign guests are their own responsibility.
Our Recommendations:
Since we generally walk at the sightseeing places, we recommend that you come prepared accordingly and dress according to the seasonal conditions. (fleece/sweater, hat, sunglasses, raincoat, etc.) Choose to dress from thin to thick (you sweat while walking, you may feel cold when you stop). Your shoes should be suitable for walking (dirt, rock, mud, water, etc.). Ankle boots or sneakers would be good. Have a small backpack (your hands should be free while walking) Be sure to bring spare clothing, socks, and shoes. Climate Conditions
It is generally a temperate climate type where all four seasons can be rainy. Frontal and orographic precipitation dominate. The presence of high mountains parallel to the coast in the region has created an environment for increased precipitation. For this reason, the annual and daily temperature difference in the region is not large. At the same time, winter in the region is not very cold, but it is rainy. Precipitation is mostly in the form of rain, and while snowfall and frost events can be seen, fog is also frequently seen. Summers in the region are also mild. The average of the hottest month does not exceed 22°C-24°C. The average temperature of the coldest month is always above 0°C. Although cold air masses coming from the northwest occasionally affect the region, this effect disappears as you go east of the region. According to the geographical characteristics of the region, it shows changes in terms of temperature and precipitation. Precipitation occurs as the cool and humid air coming from the Black Sea rises along the North Anatolian Mountains. Due to the high altitude in the Eastern Black Sea Section, the most precipitation is seen in this section. The annual amount of precipitation is on average 2000 mm (Rize 2300 mm). In the southern part of the North Anatolian Mountains, this value drops to 300 mm. The Middle Black Sea Section, on the other hand, is the least rainy part of the region due to the decrease in altitude. Here the annual amount of precipitation is about 700 mm on average. In the Western Black Sea Section, precipitation is lower than in the Eastern Black Sea Section in parallel with the lower elevation in this section. The annual amount of precipitation is around 1200 mm on average. Throughout the region, the annual amount of precipitation can exceed 2000 mm, especially in the Eastern Black Sea Section, and can drop to 600 mm in the Middle Black Sea Section.
