Day 2: ŞİRİNCE VILLAGE - MARY'S HOUSE - EPHESUS ANCIENT CITY-KUŞADASI
After meeting at the specified points and following Tekirdağ and Çanakkale, in the morning we arrive in Şirince village. We are given free time in Şirince, an old Greek village nestled among olive trees and vineyards, famous for its houses similar to Safranbolu architecture and its fruit wines, preserving a unique village texture. After free time, Mary's House, where the last days of Mary’s life were spent and which is considered one of the holiest places of Christianity, is our next visit point. After our tour of the Pool, Church and Holy Spring here, we begin visiting the Ancient City of Ephesus, which has been excavated for 100 years and only 10% of it has been unearthed so far. In the Ancient City of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved cities of the Ancient Aegean World, the historical texture of Ephesus draws us into the depths of history during our visit. Afterwards Kuşadası Marina area and, after free time, head to our hotel in İzmir. Accommodation and dinner. İZMİR
Day 3: İZMİR-ELEVATOR-KONAK SQUARE
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we begin our city tour, where we will see unforgettable views while visiting İzmir, Turkey's 3rd largest city and one of Turkey’s most important trade, fair, and student cities. We arrive at our first stop, the historic elevator. Although the elevator connecting two streets was built in 1907, it has no equal in Anatolia. The historic elevator was built to provide fast and easy transportation between two neighborhoods that are reached with 155 steps from one to the other. Afterwards, at Konak Square we see the historic clock tower. The most important feature of the 25-meter-high clock tower is its original architecture built with cut stone. The Clock Tower is very important for the people of İzmir and is generally preferred as a meeting place. Konak is one of İzmir’s centers of culture, art, and entertainment. Guests who wish may walk around Konak Pier square and spend time there. We give free time at Kemeraltı Bazaar. Kemeraltı Bazaar, home to 15,000 businesses, has established itself in İzmir as a large open-air shopping area. Thanks to this feature, it attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year. In the Karşıyaka area we take a tea and coffee break. Along the seaside promenade, there are also food options to suit every palate. Here, it is possible to find alternatives such as boyoz, gevrek, kumru, mussels, and kokoreç, which are among İzmir’s famous flavors. If you wish, you can lie on the grass and read your book; if you wish, you can take a walk or ride a bicycle; if you wish, you can sit with your friends facing the sea and chat, enjoying the view and the peace. As our program ends, in the evening we begin our return journey with you, our valued guests, to Çorlu via İzmir-Çanakkale-Tekirdağ. We say goodbye by dropping you, our valued guests, off at the points where we picked you up, hoping to see you again on our next ÇORLU TRAVEL tour.
