DAY 1: ÇORLU-CAPADOCIA
Our journey begins with departure from Çorlu, from the old girls' vocational stop. As we continue toward Istanbul, Bolu, and Ankara-Gölbaşı, near Şereflikoçhisar, we encounter the beauty of Lake Tuz, resembling a pure white paradise. Located at the deepest point of a tectonic depression and surrounded by plateaus, Lake Tuz ‘Lake Koçhisar’ is also known as. After seeing Lake Tuz panoramically, and following Aksaray, we arrive in the Cappadocia region in the morning.
DAY 2: IHLARA VALLEY-TREE-MEETING and THE SNAKE CHURCH-KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY-THREE GRACES-KOCABAĞ WINERY
We begin touring the Cappadocia region, formed by soft layers created by lava and ash spewed by the mountains in the area and shaped over millions of years by rain and wind erosion. We head to the slopes of Mount Hasan , one of the highest mountains in Central Anatolia. We panoramically view the village of Selime and Selime Cathedral along our route. We arrive at Ihlara Valley, one of the most important retreats in the Cappadocia region. In Ihlara Valley, where nature and history intertwine with 105 churches and the Melendiz Stream flowing through it, and where people still live inside, we visit the Tree-Material Church and the Snake Church and complete our tour there with information from our guide. We enjoy a pleasant walk along the Melendiz stream. We panoramically see the Derinkuyu Park Mosque, one of Turkey's most interesting and modern mosques, and also the country's largest Atatürk statue located there. We panoramically see the Üzümlü Church, also known as dating back to the 19th century, one of the region's important Greek settlements. (Closed to visitors) Then we head to Kaymaklı Underground City. Kaymaklı Underground City; built as 7 levels underground, with 15% open to visitors, we enter this underground city through narrow corridors. We visit churches, chapels, wineries, storage rooms, and living areas such as the kitchen. Leaving this enchanting atmosphere, we offer the opportunity to buy the very delicious double-roasted pumpkin seeds grown in the region. Then we panoramically see Üçgüzeller Area'se, where the finest examples of fairy chimneys with hats are found and where the panoramic view of the entire Cappadocia Region can also be enjoyed. We stop by Kocabağ Winery, one of Turkey's largest wine factories and a product of the beautiful grapes of Cappadocia, one of the gifts of volcanic terrain, and complete our wine shopping. At the end of the tour, we return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel. After dinner, for those who wish (extra), in entertainment venues carved into caves unique to Cappadocia, we join an unforgettable musical Turkish Night. DAY 3: PIGEON VALLEY-ONYX STONE WORKSHOP-PANORAMA-GÖREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM-POTTERY WORKSHOP-PAŞA VINEYARDS-DEVRENTLER-HACI BEKTAŞ-I VELI TOMB and MUSEUM-ÇORLU
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we continue touring the Cappadocia Region. We listen to the legend of the fairies who once helped people and continued to help them even after turning into pigeons, and first we get the chance to see Pigeon Valley, then Uçhisar Castle. We go to the shop where the onyx stone unique to the region, formed by the lava of erupting volcanoes, is processed and sold, and offer the chance to buy souvenirs. We go to Landscape Valley and sip our tea and coffee accompanied by its magnificent view. In the area that resembles an open-air museum, we sequentially see the region's highest point, used for defense in various periods and formed entirely naturally by the carving of a rock block, Uçhisar Castle, which emerged between the Hittite Period and the 9th century AD, and photograph it panoramically. We visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, which offers visitors an unforgettable experience by combining Cappadocia's historical and natural beauties. We tour this open-air museum made up of Monasteries, Churches, Chapels, Dining Halls, Kitchens and living spaces carved into rock. (Apple Church, St. Barbara Church, St. Basil Church, Sandaled Church), and the Tokalı Church, where the Bible is painted from beginning to end, are among the places we will see. We arrive at the Pottery workshops produced with the soil unique to that region. You will have the chance to sit at a wheel and make your own pottery with the master's help. We continue our journey accompanied by the beautiful valleys of Cappadocia. We panoramically see Fairy Chimneys located in Paşa vineyards and Devrentler. These valleys bear witness to their unique beauty through our imagination. We set off to visit Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Complex. In sequence, we visit the courtyards of Nadar, Dergah, Ergah and Hazret and the structures adorning them (Üçler and Aslanlı Fountain, Soup Kitchen, Mosque, Mihman House, Meydan House, Çilehane, Kırklar Square). Finally, after visiting the tombs of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli and Balım Sultan, we leave Hacı Bektaş. We begin our return to Çorlu. We drop off our valued guests at the points where we picked them up and say farewell, hoping to see you again on our next ÇORLU TRAVEL tour.
Our approximate return time to Çorlu, the starting point of the tour, is between 03:00 - 05:00.
